Hey friends! I’ve been cocooning on my couch the last few days, bingeing shows made pre-2015 or set pre-2015 or watching movies that have nothing to do with politics. Self-care comes in many forms, and after I expend a lot of energy doing things, I need to rest and restore my armory.
But now I’m in fighting mode, preparing for podcasting while also writing for the Political Voices Network Substack. Today I wrote about trying to wring the truth out of a stone—aka Nancy Mace. Taking on the MAGA Mean Girls isn’t for everyone, but I’m not everyone. They all find out what happens when they try it with me.
It’s currently not paywalled because it’s a fun read that I’d like to be shared as much as possible, please and thank you! If you’d also consider upgrading to a paid subscription there, that would be rad, as would upgrading to a paid one here. Supporting indie media matters now more than ever, because Nancy Mace’s Comms Director doesn’t acknowledge us as real media. BIIIITCH.
Anyhoo…some quick Housekeeping:
THE TARA SHOW is once again live tomorrow at 2 pm/11 am, and we’ll have a big announcement about the future of the show.
And since we’re still in the Amazon Blackout Week, please consider buying my rock and roll love story The Sound Of Settling from the world’s best indie bookstore, Powell’s. Or you can order it from your local indie bookstore, as long as you’re supporting a local business and little ol me.
Hang in there, my friends! Grab some couch time for yourself. And I recommend 1923 so very much.
