Joe Scarborough is a shitbag.

He cheated on his ex-wife with his new wife, just like Donald Trump did (twice). Mika Brzezinski, the daughter of former NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR Zbigniew Brzezinski, sits next to her mans like she earned that spot instead of being just another blonde nepo baby.

Joe and Mika first started bending the knee to Trump in 2016 by letting him lazily call into their show anytime he wanted. They sat and chuckled as they enabled and normalized everything about him. They kept up the schmooze during his failed term, even when he threatened them, then pretended to take him to task after January 6th, and all during the Biden/Harris administration. But it was all just morning drive radio smoke and mirrors.

Those two sycophantic suckups made a pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago on Friday INSTEAD OF DOING THEIR SHOW. We learned about this yesterday and the social medias immediately went hard on both of them, because we’re not supposed to enable an adjudicated rapist convicted felon pedophile fascist Nazi.

There is not one single acceptable reason for any member of the corporate media to make a secret trip to the Trump Minimum Security Documents Storage Facility. If they have an interview, fine. But this wasn’t that. This was all done on the downlow and it’s shady as fuck.

It’s also kind of hilarious, because as soon as Scarborough finished swallowing whatever was left of his pride along with whatever was placed in front of him, Trump put him on blast.

Tuesday morning, Joe was doing some serious Trumpian posturing to justify the secret trip even after Trump dragged him. He’s so shitty and spineless and I want to punch his words along with his smug privileged face.

Then there’s this audacious bit of Trumpian propaganda while defending himself:

I mean, fuck them both. No one is calling them to be like GOOD FOR YOU. Why not say they came up to you with tears in their eyes while you’re at it, you sycophantic shitbag?

Like a lot of people, I haven’t been able to watch any news since Election Day. The corporate media’s failures have been magnified exponentially, but this is beyond anything anyone should be doing if they don’t work for Fox, OAN, or Newsmax. If Joe and Mika aren’t fired, MSNBC is going to see their ratings tank hard. Will Lawrence O’Donnell and Rachel Maddow just tolerate it? Will they comment or stay silent? I would love to see my favorite trusted MSNBC anchors walking off the job until Joe and Mika are replaced. Joy Ann Reid, are you really okay with this?

I also never watched Morning Joe, mainly because I’m on the West Coast and still very much asleep when they’re doing their drive time wacky morning DJ/side chick shtick. The clips I see online are sufficient enough to inspire all of the EWWW memes.

All of this makes me sick. It’s infuriating and frustrating to watch the MAGA cult delighting in the dismantling of all our norms just to “own the libs” while never comprehending how broke ass they’ll be thanks to Trump’s tariffs.

Votes are still being counted, btw. Trump doesn’t have a mandate, and Kamala Harris is closing the gap on the Popular Vote. He didn’t pass the 50% mark there once again. I hate everything about this timeline where people are planning protest marches instead of trying to fight the impending fascism.

So once again, here’s the link to the Duty to Warn letter that was sent to VP Harris asking for a recount. I’m asking you to share this with your Democratic members of Congress. I’m not going to pull a Morning Joe and you better not either.

When we fight, we win, remember? The fight didn’t end on the 5th, my friends. If you’re not fighting fascism before it can walk back into the White House, then what are you doing?
