IT'S OK TO DO SOMETHING THAT FEELS GOOD

Like helping a struggling self-published author finally get a book deal

I created this Substack to promote The Sound of Settling, and although politics inevitably creeps in because I’m me, I remain laser-focused on making this book a success.

It’s both the best and worst of times, but I’d say that makes for a compelling argument to escape into a non-political rock and roll love story inspired by my real meet-cool with Dave Grohl in 2001.

If you don’t already have a copy, I’d love for you to buy one today. If you can’t spare the extra scratch—something I understand all too well—it costs you nothing to share the link on your socials.

If you don’t want to buy it from Amazon, another thing I get and also fully support, you can order it from Powell’s or your local indie bookstore.

If you DO already have a copy, THANK YOU SO MUCH! My ask for you is to please take a moment to rate it 5 stars on Amazon and leave a brief review so that the shitty fake MAGA reviews never get to the top. Your Verified Purchases lend credibility to your reviews.

You all have my gratitude, and I just want to return that in kind by making you happy with my sweet rock and roll love story that readers “just couldn’t put down” and delivers a “doozy of a cliffhanger.”
