Late Monday night, when most of America was asleep, seven Republicans voted NO on holding a vote to release the Epstein Files.
Led by ancient traitorous cross-eyed hillbilly crone Virginia “SHUT UP!” Foxx (the second “x” is for “eXtra terrible”), the Republican members of the House Rules Committee voted to protect Trump instead of sex trafficked children, save for Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina. I’m super curious as to why Rep. Norman voted with the Democrats, but a call into his office wasn’t returned before I finished this, so I’ll keep waiting and let you all know if I hear back.
One thing those seven terrible Trump traitors have in common, besides feckless fealty to a fucking felonious childfucker, is accepting contributions from AIPAC, aka the bane of all good and decent (read: NOT REPUBLICAN) American Jews. They claim to be bipartisan as long as the elected official “stands with Israel,” but it’s obviously far more complicated than that.
These are the seven AIPAC Assholes.
And these are their phone numbers. Your girl got busy EARLY, yo.
I think I scared a couple of interns for sure, and then I emailed a couple of Comms Directors. I know I won’t get any responses, because Republicans NEVER respond. But it made me feel better, plus it’s my job to tell people the truth about politics.
The 2071 number is Virginia Foxx’s. I called her at almost midnight my time last night because I couldn’t wait until this morning to read Katie Johnson’s testimony into her voicemail. Also, I encourage you to call her just for the experience of hearing her outgoing message explaining how to email her website. MAGA Mamaw makes Methuselah seem spry.
And yes, this is the same Virginia Foxx who yelled “SHUT UPPP!” to a reporter a while back because she tried to help overturn the 2020 election.
Also, writing “seven” over and over gave me a Prince earworm, which is very appropriate:
All seven and we'll watch them fall
They stand in the way of love and we will smoke them all
We already know that nothing Republicans do makes sense, but today I’ll get a unique perspective into this insanity thanks to former GOP Congressman Joe Walsh, who’ll be our guest on THE TARA SHOW at 2 pm ET/11 am PT. I met Joe last August at the DNC, and it’s taken us this long to schedule a conversation we couldn’t have imagined having when this photo was taken.
If you’re free, come hang out in the chat and be a part of the conversation! Joe is going to have plenty of insight about how Republicans are behaving right now, so if you can’t join us live, you can always watch it on the Political Voices Network YouTube!
