You’ll pay $12 for a bag of cotton balls and $45 for a basic t-shirt. Your precious fucking eggs will be at least $20 a dozen because all of the migrant farm workers will have been deported, you dumb fucks. None of you understand how good you’ve had it on the daily up til now thanks to all of the government agencies that Trump is threatening to dismantle.

I started posting regularly on Bluesky on Sunday, when I had like 732 followers. Today I have 11.1K and NONE are bots! Not only that, these very real smart people READ AND BUY BOOKS. Between the lack of suppression on Bluesky and the boost from Ellen Barkin, I’ve sold 32 books since Sunday.
Three people have already finished it on Kindle. My royalties this month so far have already surpassed my totals for the three previous months. I wish I had been posting on Bluesky the entire time I’ve been promoting The Sound of Settling. At this rate, I could hit 1000 copies sold by Thanksgiving.
It’s time my beloved rock and roll story went to the next level, out of self-publishing and into the mass market. I’m so ready for it and I want you all to come along for the ride. Tara, I recently learned that Good Reads is owned by Amazon. A lot of people are moving to that platform instead. You can download your data from Goodreads and upload it to StoryGraph, which is wonderful. It can’t be done by phone, it needs to be done on a computer.
