Well this has been a helluva great week for you Tara. And you look cutes as hell in that outfit. LOVE the Vans. So glad you got your Dave YaYa’s out. Good on ya woman. Made me happy.
I know how you feel about the packing and travel anxieties. As a former flight attendant I’ve learned how to pack the minimum amount with the most versatility. People always feel like what they wear is noticed but trust me. Most people don’t even notice if you wear the same thing multiple times unless of course, there are many photo ops. This reduces you to many tops which take less room and a few bottoms. Synthetics don’t wrinkle and you can roll them. Being in SF, we know LAYERS. Don’t like the weather? Drive 10 miles and that will change. Chicago at this time of year doesn’t have that need as much but a light cover at night can be at just one. Truly people worry more about how THEY look. Toiletries? Buy travel sizes, skip your extensive beauty routine for a few days. Get stuff there.
I don’t have Venmo but I do have CashApp. I’ll send you a PM on here if I can for a way to help.
Tara dearest....get your butt to Chicago ASAP......Your bud Hal Sparks was amazing on Stephaine Millers Sexy Liberal tour Chicago show last night......."Florida Man" gets better all the time........Your packing tales mirror LIla preparing to leave asshole Matthew on the one way flight to LA........I am saying to myself here...."is this for real??" You go girl........you are supposed to be in Chicago right about now.
I saw a post today where a man revealed how he travels light. Wash sox and underwear in the room sink and let them dry while you wear the spares. That's basically what I did when United misplaced my bag on a trip to LAE (Papua New Guinea) in 1985. The people that ran the "guest house" where I was staying did my laundry every night. I found my bag in the lost bags area of the Port Moresby airport on my return trip. It had been broken into and looted.
Yay! Tara that's amazing! Have an awesome time, I'm so happy you're there to represent! Just bought you a "coffee" cheers! 🥂
Have the bestest time.
For all of us.

Ok I don’t know how to pm you here (no on Xitter). You have my email. Can you email me and we can work from there?
Thank you so much!
I told you that Sari Beth Rosenberg, the other Substack that I pay money to subscribe to, will be there so if you two can get together...
Right on, Tara! DNC invite and the awesome Dave interaction. The Universe keeps showering you with goodies. Safe travels!

I'm carrying my bag on the plane because it costs $40 to check it
