Totally with you, Tara. I have to have double hip replacements, the first happening Jan 31st. Thinking of asking the anesthesiologist to put me under for the next four years, though I don't want to tempt fate! Thankfully I have ObamaCare, fantastic insurance. Getting this all done before the evil broligarchs rip away our health care. And, I will be re-reading The Sound of Settling during my recovery! A Great read by a great writer! Take care of yourself.

At the tender age of 70, I think I've had about 10 colonoscopies by now. Ulcerative Colitis does a number on the ol' innards, and the docs want to keep checking them out. Which, of course, means frequent (almost yearly) preps. Blarg.

I shall wander over to Cramazon forthwith to commence with the "unhelpful" button for the MAGAts, and the 5-stars along with my review. Because, fuck them.

I spent New Year's night in ER, courtesy of passing out cold at my 'puter for no apparent reason. Spent another couple days in-patient cuz they wanted to make sure the ol' ticker wasn't screwing up. I have a total reverse shoulder replacement coming up that should have been done last year - thank GAWD for Medicare - and it WILL be done this year, cuz... MAGAts & their penchant for screwing around with everyone's health care.

Sending you HUGE HUGS and tons of empathy for the procedure, which is far better than the prep for it. <3 <3 <3

Glad it was only one polyp. I had 14 at my last colonoscopy and my doctor acted as if I won some sort of prize! He tried to get me to sign up for genetic testing. I said why and he said to see if you’re gonna get cancer. I said I’ve already had colon cancer that that’s why I have colonoscopies every two years. Just because a doctor says they want to do XYZ as an elective thing always ask what difference will it make in your treatment? In my case, it would make no difference so I very nicely said no.

Good morning, Tara. I love to watch you on Hal's show. You do not hold back on your viewpoints, which is more needed with those who have a microphone. I just finished watching Jessica Denson, a courageous woman, on Dean Obeidallah's show. We all need to speak out. I have been calling my Congress folks every day, urging them to stand up against reinstalling a criminals, perverted Russian asset in the White House. Keep it up, you indeed do rock

As a former actor you learn first review that if you believe the good reviews you have to believe the bad ones. Don’t get excited about either.

Rock on.
